Natalie James wins Democratic nomination to US Senate
Little Rock, Arkansas — According to Talk Business and Politics’ Roby Brock, early returns for the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate show Natalie James taking the lead.
James competed for the Democratic seat in the U.S. Senate race against Dan Whitfield and Jack E. Foster.
James prides herself in teaching the importance of financial stability to Arkansas communities, growing up in Little Rock. She was appointed to the City of Little Rock Land Bank Commission, by Mayor Frank Scott Jr. in 2020 and has been to assisting neglected communities and neighborhoods by getting them back on tax rolls.
James has defended women’s rights, voting rights, LGBT Arkansans as well as business owners, and criminal justice reform as the Chair of the Political Action Committee.
In the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 8., James will face off against the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate.
